Handy Handheld Camera Mount

This is a versatile holder for small video or still cameras that lets you set the camera down on any surface or tripod mount with ease. An optional GoPro mount is available if you want to capture something in slow motion simultaneously. The design features a trapped nut and bolt construction and is simple to assemble. A recess at the bottom accommodates different sized lens caps, allowing you to print your own cap holder and superglue it in place. I've included a remix of a 49mm lens cap holder that may work for you. Update: I added a version of the handle that is 1/4" taller for larger hands. Instructions: Print top and bottom with support. I use 10% infill when printing the support, which pops out easily with just a bit of exacto knife work. Your results may vary. The top and bottom fit together snugly, but you will probably want to use ca glue (superglue) to ensure it doesn't come apart and damage your camera. You'll need a standard 1/4-20 nut for the bottom tripod mount and a 1/4-20 bolt between 1/4" and 1/2" long where the main camera attaches. You may have to trim the bolt so your camera seats properly. The knurled knob stays in place when you push in the 1/4" bolt from underneath. Make sure it fits properly and turns smoothly before gluing the top and bottom together.
