Handwired or Contra Keyboard case
thingiverse
This case fits perfectly for the Contra 40% mechanical keyboard project, but it can also be adapted for handwiring due to its sturdy plate. The Contra PCB needs to be sanded down to fit snugly into the case. To build this keyboard, follow these steps: 1) Slice the files carefully to match your 3D printer's bed dimensions (Ender 3 users should print them at a 45-degree angle). It's crucial that image.stl and base.stl overlap perfectly on the bed. Also, set the z-hop to 0.5mm in base.stl. 2) Print the image.gcode file and remove only the thin border around it from the bed, leaving the rest of the print intact. 3) Replace the filament with your preferred color. 4) Print the base.gcode on top of the image.stl, adding a 0.5mm z-hop. 5) Carefully detach the base from the printer. 6) Print the plate.gcode in the desired color. 7) Remove the newly printed plate from the printer. 8) Finally, print the gasket.gcode, which can be made with TPU or PLA filament.
