To safeguard others who visit our home during self-isolation, I created a device to securely hold and dispose of hands-free doorbell pushers. Fix it next to your doorbell using double-sided foam tape or glue. This system comes in four parts: - The bell pusher stick - The top section that holds new sticks - The bottom part, a bin for used sticks - it attaches to the top part and is the only piece requiring supports during printing - The base, which slides out so used sticks can drop into it without handling them, making disposal easy To prevent spreading any virus on your hands, ideally newly printed sticks should be treated with disinfectant like Bioguard or washed thoroughly with Hibiscrub before being placed in the dispenser. To further minimize risk, use a tissue when inserting new sticks.
