Join the battle against the pandemic right now! One of the most frequent sites of transmission is the doorknob. Lever knobs are helpful because you can use your elbow, but you still need to pull the door (if you have a round knob, you can compromise by temporarily disabling the latch using tape). The model is a very simple implementation of a door-pulling "toe-hook" attachment that is meant to aid in hands-free opening and closing of doors. You can use painter's tape (see photo) to attach the hook temporarily. The hook is designed for 31.4mm thickness doors, printed on Prusa Mini with default PLA settings. You can easily adjust the door thickness in your slicer scaling*** (UPDATE v1.2+: you can now use a customizer for OpenSCAD). *** If you have a Z mm thickness door, you can scale the model by (Z mm) / (31.4 mm). For example, if you have 35.2mm thick doors at bottom, you can scale it by 1.12x. v1.2: finished customizable OpenSCAD version! You can now adjust for different door thicknesses. v1.1: added chamfered edges for comfort and ease of taping to the door. Added optional screw holes.
