Hands-Free Door Opener
thingiverse
This hands-free door opener is designed specifically for doors that don't self-latch, often found in office or public areas such as bathrooms. Instead of reaching for the handle, users simply step on a pedal to open the door. I recently observed metal versions of this device installed on numerous bathroom doors at Penn State, and I thought it was an ingenious solution. Given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, I believe some individuals may find this feature particularly useful. The mounting holes are precision-drilled to accommodate standard #10 screws.
