Hands free door open adapter
thingiverse
This was designed to fit snugly onto a 47mm doorknob, allowing you to open the door with ease using just your sleeve, rather than straining with your hand. To secure it in place, simply screw it on using three 3mm machine screws, which I conveniently had left over from upgrading my PRUSA printer. For added grip and to prevent slippage, you can apply a small amount of glue – white glue or a glue stick will do the trick nicely – knowing that it will be easy to clean off later. The push model is designed to function independently, requiring no additional supports during printing. In contrast, the pull model features an extra hole for attaching an arm guard, which provides valuable assistance when pulling the door open. Both handles are crafted to fit comfortably on either side of a door – left or right – offering flexibility and convenience. Pull style 2 is notable for its streamlined design, using less plastic while boasting a more stylish arm guide. Remember to prioritize your safety, well-being, and hygiene by washing your hands frequently.
