Handred80
thingiverse
Handred80 was part of a project developed by the National University of Asunción, led by Mariela Benítez. It's an adult prosthetic with wrist disarticulation that leverages forearm rotation (supination and pronation) to facilitate hand prosthesis use. The operating principle is identical to transradial amputation prosthetics, which are activated by elbow flexion. Steve Wood's Flexy Hand was modified for this device. This prosthetic significantly varies in the wrist area (base of palm and socket) from one person to another, requiring modification on a case-by-case basis. Contact PO Paraguay at quiero@po.com.py.
