I designed this custom bracket to connect a 2x4 to a 4x4 post, enabling me to build a sturdy handrail for my deck. It's still under construction, but the black bracket I initially used was too pricey. My DIY alternative is a game-changer - it's not only cost-effective, but also offers several improvements over its commercial counterpart.
