This device serves as a press-on adapter for a vacuum handpump to utilize with vacuum bags. The pump is engineered to screw onto the vacuum bags, yet not all bags feature identical treads. This adapter can be securely fastened onto the pump and pushed firmly onto the bag while pumping occurs. I incorporated a small piece of rubber band into the ring that presses against the bag for added grip.
