Handmade tulips for women's day 8th of March
thingiverse
For this International Women's Day, my son and I decided to make a special gesture for our lovely women - his mom and my wife. We chose to print tulips for them. My curious son took the lead in drawing flowers with a pencil, while I handled the printing part. Here's how we did it: 1. First, my son drew beautiful flowers on a piece of paper using a pencil. 2. Next, he scanned his artwork into monochrome BMP format and then used an image editor to correct any errors or imperfections. 3. We converted the BMP file to SVG format using an online converter like Convertio.co. 4. My son uploaded the SVG model to Tinkercad, where we created a 3D STL model of the flowers and holders. 5. After that, we printed out the flowers and holders using our 3D printer. 6. Finally, my wife helped us paint the tulips to give them a more vibrant look.
