Handles for Sparrows picks

These are two of my 3D handles, custom-made for Sparrows Monstrum picks, just like Tron and Attila. However, they also fit standard-sized picks, which have slightly smaller grips on the handle. The designs are split into two parts that need to be glued together after printing in PLA. I recommend using UHU Plast Special, a specialized plastic model glue, for this purpose. You'll also require two M4x3 setscrews to secure the pick within the handle. One of the advantages of these handles is their ability to be easily swapped out when needed or if a tip breaks. To avoid damaging the design, it's essential not to overtighten the screws more than what can be achieved with just your fingertips. The handles work very well and provide excellent feedback, especially the fish-shaped one which fits comfortably in the hand. Before printing, make sure your printer is set to use breakaway support since one half has a groove for the pick. After printing, clean out the support material carefully using a cutter knife and a flat file key. This process may take some time but ensure that there's enough space around the pick for it to slide in smoothly, either by clamping or holding the parts together with your fingers. To make setting the screws easier, use an M4 tap to thread the holes before gluing them shut and clean up any excess material. If you're changing filaments when the top layers are starting (around 70%...it may vary), you can even print these handles in two colors.
