Handles for Medela baby bottles

Handles for Medela baby bottles

thingiverse

This is a simple handle that adds convenience to your Medela brand baby bottles. To use it, simply slip it over the neck of the bottle and screw the nipple and collar into place. Designed for 8oz bottles, this handle will also fit 5oz bottles although it may feel a bit unstable in those smaller sizes. There is no guarantee that it fits other brands or 2oz bottles. You might find that using this handle either helps your child learn to hold onto the bottle or gives them another way to push it out of their mouth when they're still hungry. I printed this handle at .3mm, with a 30% infill and no supports, while setting my temperature to 210° with PLA. I used hotter temperatures than usual to ensure good layer adhesion, but the result was a bit messy. You may need to adjust your settings slightly for better results. Important: 3D printed objects without special materials or post-processing are not safe for use as food surfaces. Do not let your child use this handle unsupervised and never allow them to chew on it. If it becomes dirty, print a new one instead of trying to wash it. This warning should have been obvious but I'm including it anyway.
