Handle Replacement for Wide Mouth Water Bottle
thingiverse
My daughter snapped the handle of her Nalgene wide mouth water bottle in two. It's virtually impossible to find a replacement where I live, making this situation even more frustrating. This is a simple design that could be easily removed or attached permanently. The default STL file is for a replacement handle without clip cover and 1mm gap between clip and cap, but the gap and clip generation can be customized as needed. Adjustable using OpenSCAD or Customizer (http://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=1757404). Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Honeycomb Notes: Print the handle on its side. Post-Printing: Removable: Simply clip the handle to the cap and you're ready to go. Permanent: Apply some super glue to the clip and cover (optional) and wait for it to dry.
