Handle/Knob factory -- Griff-Fabrik
thingiverse
This is a simplistic parametric handle/knob. You can choose between rectangle, oval, cylindric and "flower" shape. You can have a center bore or a thread. The bore can go through the handle or stop in the middle. For the thread the library threadlib.scad is necessary: https://github.com/adrianschlatter/threadlib Note: The number of turns of the thread is not calculated automatically. If you notice fragments of the thread outside the handle you need to choose a smaller number of turns. Note: For the flower option please use low $fn and fn_sphere rendering settings for choosing the correct parameters. To get better rendering quality for the flower option, rendering can easily take several hours with higher $fn and fn_sphere settings. Note: to get internal serrations (Innenvielzahn) of a certain diameter X you need to choose a bore diameter of X/sqrt(2). Please follow these easy steps to get the STL files you want: 1. install openSCAD: https://www.openscad.org (it is free of charge) 2. open the scad file of this thing 3. adjust the parameters as you like (inner diameter, outer diameter, etc.) 4. render the design by pressing F6 5. export to STL by pressing F7 Version 0.02 comes with the possibility to add the cavity for a nut. Please consider to add some clearance to the wrench size, say 0.15 mm or so, to ensure a proper mountability of the nut. Version 0.03 comes with a cylindric and a "flower" option. Version 0.04 comes with option for internal serrations (Innenvielzahn) and square bore
