Handle Grip - Simple and Functional
prusaprinters
This simple handle grip was printed in yellow TPU as a handle grip for a lead hammer I recently made. It was designed to be printed in TPU, and simply slides onto a 0.5" diameter metal rod. It should work as a handle grip for other tools as well. The print can be scaled up or down a bit to fit different diameter rods, and a small test print is provided to verify the scale setting. A firm (but not tight) fit is recommended. If you want to know more about the lead hammer, see this link :https://sites.google.com/site/lagadoacademy/machining---lathes-mills-etc/build-lead-hammer-mold Print InstructionsPrint in TPU using the 3mf file provided; in general :0.3mmm layer heightperimeters = 2infill = 10% adaptive cubicThe above print parameters will give you a grip with a somewhat “squishy” feel (it feels a bit like a padded grip). For a more solid grip, increase the infill percentage.CADThe OnShape 3D CAD files for this are here :https://cad.onshape.com/documents/4197dd91f7f87318e5bb6906/w/3a665e870b1ca42c288f33c8/e/485239e2392d7d2d82cfc564
