Handle for Yeti 20oz Rambler
thingiverse
I recently picked up a 20z Yeti Rambler, and it's become my go-to companion. But sometimes I find myself wishing that it had a handle to make carrying around easier. Luckily, Autodesk Inventor and Makerbot are always there to lend a hand - literally! I haven't printed out the design yet, but when I do, I'll be sure to share a photo of it. For now, let's take a look at how I designed this handle. To start, I chose MakerBot as my printer brand. Specifically, I'm using my trusty MakerBot Replicator 2. Since I don't plan on printing the handle with any rafts or supports, those settings aren't too important for me right now. However, I did decide to go with a resolution of 0.2 mm, which should give me the level of detail I need. As for infill, I'm aiming for around 20-25% - this will help keep the handle lightweight while still providing enough structure. Now that we have our print settings out of the way, let's talk about how I designed this handle in Autodesk Inventor.
