I crafted a custom handle for my 'John Guest Speedfit' type isolator valve in the garage, so it wouldn't go unaddressed. Utilizing a 3mm x 20mm screw seemed like the best choice - one that many makers will have on hand. The extended shaft provides ample space to secure pipe insulation if needed. It was designed and printed on my Bee The First 3D printer, which I happened to be testing for work.
