
Handle for mini files with 3mm shaft

<p>Simple handle for miniature hobby files which have a 3mm shaft. Should press on pretty easily, although if your printer has issues with <a href="https://all3dp.com/2/elephant-s-foot-3d-printing-problem-easy-fixes/">elephant foot</a> you might need to open up the hole a little bit.</p> <p>Yes there are probably a hundred other file handles on thingiverse and there are probably nicer ones than this, but t.v. search has been a bit of a dumpster fire lately (keeping in line with the rest of the site, apparently) so it was just easier for me to sketch them up and make them from scratch.<em>(If you're reading this, you either got here by accident or you hit the 5 minutes a day that thingiverse search returns useful results)</em> My first prototype fit well so there we are.</p> <p>I print them standing up with a healthy brim -- I think I used at least 8-10mm of brim to make sure they didn't fall over during printing. Once that was done I cleaned off the brim, put the files in a vise, and hammered the handle into place.
