Handle for mini files with 3mm shaft
thingiverse
Human: Simple grip for miniature hobby files with a 3mm shaft. Press on firmly, but if your printer suffers from [elephant foot](https://all3dp.com/2/elephant-s-foot-3d-printing-problem-easy-fixes/) issues, you may need to widen the hole slightly. Yes, there are probably many other file grips available on Thingiverse, and likely better ones too. Unfortunately, TV search has been a nightmare lately, so it was easier for me to design them from scratch. If you're reading this by chance or stumbled upon it during the 5 minutes of useful results returned by Thingiverse search, consider yourself lucky. My initial prototype fit perfectly, so here it is. I print these grips standing upright with a generous brim - at least 8-10mm to prevent them from toppling over during printing. Once that's done, I remove excess brim, place the files in a vise, and tap the grip into position. That's it.
