Handle for Makita 5806B Circular Saw
thingiverse
The circular saw didn't come with a front handle, so I made one on my own using some basic materials. It's held together by one M6x30 bolt for the bracket and an M6 threaded rod that serves as the handle itself (130mm long). Since I was out of a 6mm threaded rod at first, I had to enlarge the handle holes just enough to fit a 1/4" threaded rod instead. Despite the imperfect fit, it feels sturdy enough without any extra reinforcement like epoxy between the mounting bracket and the blade shroud. Print Settings Notes: At least five outer layers of perimeters and a honeycomb infill ratio of 20% are recommended for the mounting bracket to ensure strength and stability. The handle can have a lower infill ratio, such as 15%, for better print speed and reduced material usage.
