Handle for Kurt-type mill vise
thingiverse
Small, lightweight vise handle designed to replace the bulky handle that comes with Kurt mill vises. This handle is not intended for heavy-duty use, so stick with the original for those occasions :)\nThe standard handle included with a Kurt style vise is a big clunky thing meant to be removed after each use. I find it frustrating to have to put the handle away, then retrieve it from storage, place it back on the vise, adjust the jaws (usually a 2-second operation), and repeat the process.\nInstead, enter this lightweight vise handle. Although it may not withstand heavy usage or high torque, for those times when you don't need the leverage of the bulky handle, this smaller version is much more convenient. It can be left on the vise while operating the mill, often providing sufficient leverage to complete the task.\nIf this handle proves to be inadequate in the long run, I'll simply use the mill to create a new one from aluminum or steel :)\nMy first printed handle features an extra-stubby design due to being created with a small Printrbot Simple printer. Additionally, I accidentally left the infill set to 20%, but it seems to be holding up well so far.\nCustomizer notes:\nAll dimensions are in millimeters. The default hex size is 19.6mm, slightly larger than 3/4 inches.\nYou can choose from 0, 1, or 2 knobs and 0, 1, or 2 bearing recesses, but not both – select either bearings or knobs. Bearing recesses remain untested since I currently lack bearings to test them with.\n\nPrint Settings\nPrinter Brand: Printrbot\nPrinter Model: Simple Black\nRafting: No\nSupports: No
