Handle for IKEA Alex
prusaprinters

This is a remix of Whitys (https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/58412-ikea-alex-handle) remix of TimCCs (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2939638) drawer handle for IKEA Alex.

I preferred Whitys version without the label so I used that as my base.

I have cut away the rear of the handle so that it will not interfere with assortment boxes inside the drawer and I have instead added two screws to the top.

Also included is a centering tool and a drill guide for a 2mm drill that makes it quick and easy to fit the handle and pre-drill holes for the screws.

The screws should be countersunk with 3-4mm thread diameter, up to 8mm head diameter and total length something like 20-30mm.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

I3 MK3S

Rafts:

No

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

0.2mm

Infill:

20%

Filament: Prusament PETG

Notes:

I printed this with Prusas default 0.2mm speed profile and manually painted supports just in the holes for the screws. Support are probably superflous but takes very little extra time to print so I decided i might as well.

Category: Office
