I've designed this handle to snap onto the scanner body, and secure it in place with a thumb screw.No supports needed, but I did use a brim to help the base stick.I printed it in PLA, but I'd almost recommend PETG.The thumbscrew is meant to be used with a ¼"-20 X ¾" long hex bolt.I've made three different versions.Basic - Just the handle, no options for tripod mounting.Threaded - Printed threads for a ¼"-20 tripod fastener.Thread-Sert - Designed to accept a heat-set threaded insert.
