Handle clips for drill press / milling machine vise
thingiverse
I'm mounting a 1990's Craftsman drill press vise on my Harbor Freight milling machine. When certain conditions exist, the handle drops down and collides with milling machine table components, necessitating a way to keep it centered. I've utilized rubber bands up until now, but they don't last very long. These clips simply snap onto the handle and secure it in place. The clips have a diameter of 9mm and measure 40mm in length. They print standing upright with no supports required due to their slender shape. Since they are quite thin, printing them as solid has proven successful regardless of infill settings (this being based on my machine's capabilities). Additionally, I've found that printing two at once takes roughly the same amount of time as producing a single one (as dictated by my machine's settings).
