Handle bar to clamp to saddlepost of cargo bike. We use it for our Yuba kombi, but it should work for many cargobikes with a “backseat”.

For stability, I used a mm round aluminum tube/bar, which snugly fits inside the handle. It needs M6 taps in the end to fix the handles to the bar, but they can also be glued on the metal rod. It clamps to the saddlepost.

You need:

2 pcs: Saddlepost clamp, printed in 0.2 mm PETG

2 pcs: Handgriff, printed in 0.2 mm PETG

2pcs: M3x12 with countersunk head

2pcs: M6x8 or longer with countersunk head

4pcs: M4x40 with countersunk head

2pcs: M4x12 with countersunk head

4pcs: M4 hex nuts

Aluminum rod/tube with an outer diameter of 20 mm and ideally 5 mm inner diameter, than the hole already has the perfect size for the tap hole. If a bulk material is used, a hole has to be drilled. To avoid rotation and movement of the handle in the saddlepost clamp, two M4 threads should be tapped in the aluminum rod.

You can find the complete assembly as a step file. Feel free to edit, but please link and set as a remix.

The handle is also quite useful on its own.
