I recently acquired a Croozer so my youngest and I can go for runs together. A Croozer is essentially a stroller, but you could also use a jogger-cart or bike-trailer. Unfortunately, I'm quite tall and discovered that my feet would frequently hit the back bumper when walking or running. So, I extended the handlebar using a 15mm pipe and created 3D printed parts to make it fit and give it a nice finish. I've also uploaded the SolidWorks files if you'd like to make any modifications. I printed with 100% infill. I want to emphasize that no plastic 3D printed parts serve as structural components: the handlebar is always connected to the cart via metal at all times. Use a metal pipe with an outside diameter of 15mm, and drill holes on both sides. The distance between the holes should be the extra length you need for your handlebar. The 15mm pipe fits perfectly onto the handlebar side. Inside the handlebar pipe, there are four ribs (see picture). I created a part to fill the space between the ribs with the intention that the 15mm bar will lock in place better. You can choose not to use this part if it doesn't work for you. The 15mm pipe is too small for the cart side, so I designed an 3D printed insert to fill up the empty space. It fits snugly, leaving almost no room for movement. Make sure to secure the handlebar with strong bolts on the handlebar side; then you can use the original pin-clip in the cart side.
