HandiHook (Remix)
thingiverse
I'm making this remix of the Handihook found in the source. The creator was kind enough to include the Autodesk Inventor .ipt file for me to customize. I thought this was an outstanding and useful concept. I don't typically print other people's tools, but this one was worth it. Modifications: - Extended the hooks slightly. - Transformed the individual features of the hooks into a patterned feature. - Created a hole in the center to minimize material usage without compromising structural integrity (hopefully). - Added numerous fillets. Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Medium (0.2mm) Infill: Rectangular Notes: -Large Part -Print slowly -Add Brim I tried printing this out of Nylon Alloy 910, but the first print failed. I later printed it out of Nylon 645 because I didn't want to waste more of the Alloy 910 filament. Post-Printing Unfortunately, my filament had absorbed a bit too much moisture, so the print didn't come out perfectly. Then the handle ended up breaking off but a hot blade helped reattach it.
