Handheld Water Pump

Handheld Water Pump

thingiverse

Buy a low-cost irrigation water pump from Aliexpress, hook up four 18650 Li-ion batteries through a battery box, add a DC power jack, and include a switch, and you'll have your water pump ready to go. You will need to purchase 10 mm inner diameter water tubes to connect these components together seamlessly. With no induction motor at the pump head and no need to prime this pump since it's a self-sucking design, you're good to go. This setup allows you to suck the water tank dry even when the water level is only a few millimeters deep. This 3D print is made with PETG, which proved to be a better choice than PLA for this project. I tried printing it with PLA first, but the tube coupling nozzle easily cracked when the silicon rubber tube was pulled out. The advantage of using PETG lies in its excellent layer-to-layer adhesion, even at a wall thickness as thin as 1mm.
