Handheld controller for Freescale Kinetis K64 Freedom Board
thingiverse
The Freescale Freedom K64 board, equipped with a wireless module, is held by a joystick-like controller at the Maker Faire San Mateo 2014 in Freescale's booth for the NERF(R) Swarmfire Sentry HACK demonstration. This design can be printed with the top surface facing down, and works best with ABS material as PLA tends to cause curved overhangs to curl up, resulting in a rippled surface temporarily. However, it does not require support material for printing, and all other angles have been sloped at 45 degrees or more for easier printing. A common rechargeable battery "booster" pack for cell phones can be attached to the back using zip ties, which is convenient as the pack includes its own charging via USB.
