Handful of Platonic solids

The five Platonic solids are a sight to behold, each one a marvel of geometry. Take, for example, the regular tetrahedron, its four triangular faces meeting at perfect angles. Next comes the cube, also known as the regular hexahedron, six square faces locked together in harmony. The regular octahedron follows suit, eight equilateral triangles forming a symmetrical whole. But then there's the dodecahedron, its twelve pentagonal faces unfolding like a flower in bloom. And finally, we have the icosahedron, twenty triangular faces shimmering like diamonds in the light. Made of equal volume and with edges slightly rounded for ease, these five Platonic solids are not just visually stunning but also great learning tools. My grandson loves them, and I'm happy to see him learn their names and appreciate their beauty.
