I crafted this custom insert to seamlessly integrate my Pioneer DEH-S040BT car stereo's hands-free microphone into my Xsara Picasso. This design might also be compatible with other Bluetooth systems, so feel free to experiment! I initially worried that the microphone's partial enclosure by plastic would lead to muffled voice quality or other issues, but after putting it through a series of tests, I'm thrilled to report that it functions perfectly. To create this custom insert, I opted for 3D printing instead of repurposing an unused dashboard button from my Xsara Picasso.
