Handcuffs on display at the St. Catharines Museum in St. Catharines, ON, are a direct tribute to Canadian WWII veteran John D. Hills. Initially captured at Dieppe in 1942, Hills spent time as a prisoner of war in German camps, where he was restrained with these very handcuffs. The precise 3D light scans used to render the handcuffs were expertly handled by Professor John Bonnett of Brock University.
