Handbrake Mount for Playseat challenge + Others
thingiverse
I've been using this handbrake for a really long time for Dirt Rally and Assetto corsa but moved to a playseat challenge and couldn't find a good way to mount this. So I developed this replacement brace that will solve a couple issues with the current handbrake as well as mounting. The biggest change is the bolt pattern is the same as all of those ebay handbrakes, so any of the 3d printable mounts for those should work with this. I changed the holes to M6 however as I don't have or want M8 hardware. Either print some M6 to M8 nut adapters or drill out the holes if this is an issue for you. This will also hold the rotating pins for the lever in at both sides holding the whole assembly together with even more support. You can also use M4x15 (or longer) bolts instead of the Triangle dowels from the original models, they'll thread just fine. The handbrake will sit 25 degrees tilted forward when mounted to a playseat challenge and clears my 300mm WRC wheel on my fanatec CSL DD. Most TM/Logitech wheels are 280mm so you'll have even more room. There is a small pedestal for an arduino board to be placed and a tunnel to run the USB cable out the rear of the mount. THIS VERSION USES ALL OTHER STOCK PARTS FROM ORIGINAL MODEL AND REPLACES "base-w4feet.stl", PLEASE GET THOSE FROM HIM HERE: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2915581
