»Hand Vise«

A hand vise, gifted to me years ago from a tool maker, was discovered in my toolbox recently. The 3D-remodelled assembly of this useful device is worth sharing, as all dimensions are based on the original part. With a working range that remains parallel up to approximately 12.4mm workpiece thickness, it can also clamp conical or non-parallel pieces due to self-alignment. Additionally, the pivoted clamping plate can be exchanged for specific applications. Unfortunately, I lack experience with Pro/ENGINEER's "Mechanism" app to create an animation.
