As a veteran of key making, I was familiar with this type of vice before it disappeared from use due to technological advancements. Its compact size and utility made it an indispensable tool in my workshop, even years after its initial introduction. When working on delicate projects or handling small parts, having access to such precision was a game-changer. To adapt it for 3D printing while maintaining usability, I faced several challenges. A minimum of 40% infill is recommended for a solid hold, but this can be increased based on personal preference for strength and aesthetic appeal. Materials: SQUARE NECK ROUND HEAD Carriage Bolts For optimal performance: - Square neck carriage bolts provide superior grip. - Recommended materials include 4Mx20mm with lock nut, 4Mx70mm with wing nut (thumb nut). - Each project includes one spring and two washers.
