Human: My hand is being scanned in 3D detail, broken down into three levels of subdivision for a highly detailed model. High-resolution texture maps are also being applied, with a resolution of eight thousand pixels per inch. The software is now testing the effects of sub-surface scattering to add depth and realism to the digital representation of my hand.
