Hand Saver -Grip For Rakes, Shovels, etc.

This is a hand grip to be used on rakes, shovels or any other 1"'ish pole. I made this thinking that it might help save a few blisters when shoveling snow or raking leaves. This will prevent your hand from sliding on the rake handle which causes blisters. Depending on the diameter it will not move. Should the diameter of the pole be a bit smaller simply grip it harder to keep it in place or let it slide on the pole and not your hands! I searched the internet and I could not find a single grip. Even bicycle hand grips were not formed to the hand. There is a 6mm slot in the back that separates in order to put it around a pole. The idea was that your hand stays firmly gripped to the grip while the grip can slip on the handle. A slight issue is that handles are varying thicknesses. I put this on a snow shovel and it won't budge. I'm not so sure that this is bad or not as I haven't had a chance to actually use it since I made it. I made two different sizes for different sized hands. If you need one for a bigger or smaller hand you can simply resize it in MS 3D Builder, which is extremely easy to do and requires little to no knowledge of 3D objects. LOL. Of course it might work better if I had not put in on upside-down. Enjoy! If you would like to see changes to this for a special purpose just leave me a comment and I'll see what I can do.
