hand-router-plane
thingiverse
This is a straightforward hand-driven router plane for your chisel. Print the 3 parts with standard settings (I've used a raw resolution, 0.28mm), but make sure the bottom body is robust enough. The chisel handler is designed for a small 6x6mm chisel, but there's plenty of clearance to design other chisel handlers of bigger dimensions: just let me know if you need different dimensions, however I've also uploaded the Blender source so you can easily remix it. ## Bill of Materials Aside from the printed parts, you'll need: * a chisel :-) * 1 M4 screw with hex head (or put two M4 nuts into its head inside the thumb-wheel) about 25/30mm long * 1 M4 nut to fit inside the chisel handler part. ## Acknowledgments The thumb-wheel design has been taken from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4328458
