In an update on February 15th, I revealed that this model can be created sans support material. The two prominent white parts must be pressed together to create a sturdy, load-bearing construction that will never come undone; it's been performing flawlessly so far. However, I noticed that the current version doesn't generate enough clamp power, necessitating adjustments to certain components, with an update expected tomorrow! Previously, on February 8th, I unveiled Version 2 of my design, featuring a locking handle and adapted spring. Initially, Version 1 was introduced as part of my contribution to the NASA handrail challenge. Currently, I'm working on perfecting a locking mechanism (which may be dispensed with after prototype testing next week), refining the moving clamp guide, and shrinking the design to minimize material usage.
