This is a hand-cranked cooling device. It turns using a thumb or finger-operated rotational motion. The design originated in Tinkercad and was fabricated in ABS with the help of a Flashforge Creator Pro 3D Printer. Each wing component only extends a small distance from the axis, which prevents excessive air flow but allows it to create some breeze at your desk. My ultimate goal is to refine this model into version two by incorporating larger wings and internal gear mechanisms to spin even faster and cool more efficiently. For more information on its production, please view this sample assembly video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iq9BotNDr5g. The spinning action itself was inspired by wooden fans from noho91's YouTube channel. Instructions To produce the entire model in one print job, download All_Parts_Single_Print.stl. If you want to print individual components instead, remember that you need to fabricate eight Wing Part.stl pieces and then install them onto a hub piece with its companion fan blade component attached underneath it.
