Hand Plane Mounts for Wall Control
prusaprinters
This uses the DDD Printable Wall Control System (github) to mount the planes. Planes:Stanley No 60 ½ Block PlaneStanley No 4 Smooth PlaneStanley No 5 Jack PlaneNote - I have a Fulton plane of similar dimensions, but it is unlikely that anyone else owns this. I have instead posted a mount for a standard No 5 Jack Plane dimensions, but I have not physically tested it.The top pieces will require support when slicing, I tried to keep this to a minimum. There is a base and a top component to the mounts. The base requires inverted side pieces, and the top requires the standard. See the photos. I use inverted 2x2 angle brackets for the base (Left, Right, Center), and 2x1 L Bracket for the top (Left, Right).I'd recommend using the locking spacers facing the wall mount, the 2x2 will work for the 60 ½, the 2x3 behind the No 4, and the 2x4 behind the No 5 . These can be used to lock in the mount using the threaded pin.If you have another similar plane that you'd like to mount, contact me with dimensions and I can probably make a version for you.
