Hand Painted War Axe

I spent my remaining 5-10 minutes after lunch during work on this side project. Over the space of 2-3 months, I built this in 3ds max and textured using photoshop. The original concept was created by artist Kenny McBee for a Dark Siders 2 competition on Polycount. Unfortunately, I didn't do thorough research before starting, and realized later that he had already made a 3D model of his concept. I hope he doesn't mind! His work was truly impressive, so once I saw it, I dove straight into modeling it (smiling) Thanks to you, Kenny!
