Discovered in the ruins of Peshtigo, Wisconsin, following the devastating Great Fire that ravaged the city in 1871, a beautifully hand-painted St. Teresa statue lay hidden among the wreckage. This treasured artifact was generously donated to the museum by Ann Froelich during our extensive scanning process for historical artifacts. The image is courtesy of the Peshtigo Fire Museum.
