This is a plaster cast replica of a hand firmly grasping a baton. The RA maintains an assortment of casts featuring various hands, each one offering a unique perspective. Typically, students begin by drawing detailed studies of foot and hand casts before advancing to the creation of full-scale figures. These casts are designed with removable loops of wire on the back, allowing them to be conveniently mounted on a wall for close examination or easily taken down for further study.
