This part is engineered to serve as a Handheld Gimbal Cradle for a Brushless camera Stabilizer. This mount is paired with Vibration Absorbing Spacers to secure a Brushless Camera Gimbal, used for filmmaking purposes. A standard compact camera stabilizer is designed to mount into an RC aircraft, such as a Quadcopter or plane, but I opted to create a basic handheld camera gimbal mount for various uses of your RC camera Stabilizer. The motivation behind this design was to provide the ability to use the camera gimbal on my quadcopter for applications beyond just capturing smooth aerial footage, also including handheld photography. The gimbal employed in this setup was 3D printed and conceived by me; it incorporates Turnigy HD 2212 Brushless Gimbal Motors and an EVVGC Gimbal Control Board, with optimized settings resulting in excellent video quality from a straightforward device. The STL files for the Cradle Mount are 1/10th actual size. Scale up the model tenfold to achieve actual dimensions when printing.
