Simple Drill Guide for the Dewalt DCD958 Drill or Similar Hand Drills with a 48.5mm Collar To test the fit of the clamp on your drill, print out the clamp test.stl file beforehand. This will save you time and effort in the long run. The tool consists of two parts: a clamp that attaches to the drill and a guide that slides along two rods. With this setup, you can easily make square holes and tap existing ones with precision. However, keep in mind that using this tool for setting the initial position of the hole may not be as effective due to the loose fit between the drill chuck and the tool, causing the drill to deviate from its intended path. Despite this limitation, the tool excels at creating square holes (90 degrees to the surface) and tapping existing holes with ease.
