Hand grip with bearings
thingiverse
To rotate objects using your hand, utilize this hand grip with bearings or replace the bearing with a preferred washer size in the OpenScad file. You'll need three 608ZZ skate ball bearings, an M5 threaded rod (140mm), six small M5 washers, and nuts, four M3 hexagon bolts (19-20mm), and four M3 nuts. Print the hand grip part twice and the bearing adapter thrice, attempting to prevent thermal bending with a heat bed if possible. Assemble the parts on the rod as shown in the picture, ensuring the rod stays within the hand grip with top and bottom washers. Add pressure as needed to keep it steady, then use M3 bolts and nuts to close the hand grip. Apply anti-slip sports tape if desired, and finally attach your favorite shaft coupling. An optional thumb mod involves inserting a nut in the wheel's nut trap and securing it with a shaft coupling, possibly cutting a screw thread for stability. Shaft couplings can be purchased from Ebay under "Kardan Metal 4mm".
