Hand Drill

thingiverse madox 9014 Free

Miniature hand drill.
I was in desperate need of a small chuck/hand drill to hold onto some 0.6/0.8/1.0mm drill bits to clean out some holes but couldn't find a place the sold them for a decent price. Holding and placing such small drill bits was a pain, so I quickly modeled and printed this as an emergency/temporary measure.
Works well enough but lots of areas that can be improved. Might make this parametric later...

Instructions
FDM Printers (Up!, MakerBot etc) : The drill bit holder needs to be printed 'FLAT', otherwise the piece may be too fragile and break as the prongs are bend together. The layer boundaries are weak and may shear through if printed 'TALL' on a FDM printer.
The other two pieces are printed tall. The support structures for the threads are easily removed by simply removing other attached support structures and unscrewing.
The pieces feature a M10 thread, so 0.2mm and fine settings are recommended.
//Tested on an Up!. Not tested on a MakerBot, volunteers welcome!
