Hand Arm Missing Fingers

Creating a hand and forearm asset for an upcoming character was my top priority. I aimed to infuse the design with a sense of weariness, as if the hands were battered from years of hard use. To achieve this, I focused on creating swollen joints that seemed to bulge beneath the skin. However, texturing proved to be a challenging task, and I encountered some setbacks along the way. Despite these obstacles, I'm thrilled with how the final product turned out – it has a rugged, battle-hardened feel that I believe will bring depth to the character's appearance.
