Since the 1950s, the members of CRAF (Centre for Fluvial Archaeological Research) have led extensive archaeological research and underwater excavations within the caves of Han-sur-Lesse. This site has served as a shelter from prehistoric times to modern days, with occasional instances of religious significance. In 2014, archaeology students and volunteers initiated an excavation at the cave's entrance. A 3D model of the trench dug to analyze stratigraphy is featured here. The data, footage, and 3D model were created through collaboration with Thomas van Damme (@Ubi3D).
